A new double black diamond trail has officially opened as of October 25th, 2024.
Attention, mountain biking enthusiasts! Lee Canyon just leveled up with the opening of its newest double black diamond trail, adding to the excitement of our already fantastic bike park. This adds a 5th trail to our bike park trail system and promises to challenge riders with its unique features and technical demands.
Trail Overview
Roughly a half mile long, this trail is packed with elements designed to test your skills and push your limits. Riders can look forward to a left-handed hip jump with an optional smaller double, a wood drop that will get your adrenaline pumping, and a flowy section that includes step-down features. For those who enjoy a good challenge, there’s a medium to large jump and a rock garden that will keep you on your toes.
This new trail is essential for our bike park as it introduces a fresh level of progression for riders eager to tackle more difficult terrain. It connects off our existing black single-track line, and is a hybrid of machine-built and hand-built single track that showcases the hard work of our trail-building team. Building this trail took a month and a half alongside the crew’s regular maintenance duties, showcasing our commitment to maintaining high-quality riding experiences.
Skill Level
Before you hit the trail, remember that this is a jump line and downhill skills are required. Even the bypasses are technical, so make sure you’re up for the challenge! We always recommend pre-riding and re-riding the trail to familiarize yourself with the features and find your rhythm.
