Lee Canyon is thrilled to announce the grand opening of our enhanced Ponderosa parking lot and base area on December 27, 2023.
The Ponderosa Base Area marks a significant stride forward for us, offering an additional 450 parking spaces and a substantial increase in daily equipment rentals—more than double our previous capacity.
In conjunction with this expansion, we’ve also introduced a clearer distinction for our guests by naming our existing base area as the Bristlecone Base Area. To ensure a seamless experience, here’s a breakdown of the services available at each base area & where you should park:
Ponderosa Base Area (Green Signage):
- Quick access to snow
- Day Lift Ticket and Season Pass pick-up
- Basic equipment rentals
- Snow Kids and Snow Experience meeting areas on snow
Bristlecone Base Area (Blue Signage):
- Private Lessons (equipment rental and meeting area)
- Restaurants
- Season and day lockers
- VIP Parking
All equipment rentals, except for Private Lessons and Demo Equipment, will be facilitated from the Ponderosa Base Area.
